"Whiskers At Waters Edge"

“Otterly Focused”

This River Otter rose quickly from the water. Its high energy became a calm curiosity as if it began to observe me too. We locked eyes and calmly took a related breath. This single moment speaks volumes about wildlife curiosity, and connection.

"Dam Good Evening"

Just before the last light slipped behind the trees, this beaver stepped out from the still water — alert, soaked, and absolutely dialed in. A moment of calm, but also one of purpose. The natural world's best engineers.

"The River’s Table"

Balanced on a water-worn log, this otter dined on its fresh catch — no tablecloth, no silverware, just a table for one.

"Streamside Sustenance"

A Muskrat enjoys its green sustenance along a ice cold stream as spring in the mountains of Colorado begins.

"Locked Eyes"

A River Otter devoured its catch — and for a brief second, both predator and prey looked straight into my lens.

I prefer the Otters' vicious glance over the fish's lifeless stare, but to capture them both in a single moment was incredible!
